Securing the borders and enforcing existing laws would be a terrific reform.
Unfortunately I don’t thing that is what Rand is referring to.
And where is this magical place where illegals are “running from the authorities?” I see them testifying, appearing at public events, getting licences to practice law, scholarships for college and on and on and on. Rand Paul has lost his mind.
I always love “reform”. Remember campaign finance ‘reform’ in the 90’s? Clinton and Gore were caught dead to rights. Instead of busting them, the politicians initiated ‘reforms’. New laws that were promptly ignored. Same thing will happen here. The best reform is enforcement.
Whose hoping for it? I’m praying it never happens.
