“You’d think Bay Area politicians would try harder to keep that Silicon Valley tax base. “

****

Texas now exports more technology than California. Real tech, not the Facebook-type social media crap with no income or viable revenue model.

Detroit skated along “on empty” for decades, but consider the physics of car-makers —the machines are huge and heavy. Relocation is almost unthinkable.

On the other hand, consider, say, computer gaming —how hard is it for all the geeks to buy airplane tickets and pack their laptop away for a day or two...? OK, they have to pack and ship the foozeball table, yes:

When the same progressive throttling hands grope at the neck of Silicon Valley, the hollowing-out will require a year or two and not much more.

California. One of the most wonderful states in the Union... If it weren’t for the people.

These guys can’t even do basic math.

Walmart CEO made $21M in 2013. Walmart has 2M employees.

If the CEO’s salary was evenly distributed among his employees, each would get $10.50 more per year. Not exactly going to change any of their lives.

This of course applies to Finstein’s and Pelosi’s respective spouses.

Only politicians should be showered with money.
