Rep. Michael Grimm is expected to be indicted by the U.S. attorney for the Eastern District of New York, Loretta Lynch, according to the New York Republican’s lawyer.
Grimm has been under investigation by federal authorities for alleged campaign finance violations. The federal charges against Grimm, set to be unveiled by next week, are expected to include mail and wire fraud, said a source familiar with the case.
The New York Times reported that the charges may be connected to a restaurant that Grimm owned after he left the FBI in 2006, although Grimm’s attorneys could not confirm that at press time.

Exactly what I was thinking! From the excerpt I could not tell if Grimm reaper is Dem or Repub. Since nothing was mentioned, I assumed a demorat.
Still waiting for the media to call Leland Yee a DEMOCRAT..when the story broke about him selling guns to cartels and other criminals, NO ONE in the media would call him a Dem..only one news anchor here in Los Angeles dared call him one..and he literally whispered it
They are afraid of Grimm in NY, so they’ll go after him. Let’s see how this shakes out. In the mean time, where is the investigation/indictment of Harry Reid and his campaign finances?
And the DOJ brings the charges after the filing period. Meaning no Republican can challenge him in a primary. So if he refuses to resign, it’s a Dem pickup.

NY is a solid democrat state. They only need be afraid if Grimm survives
and runs as a Demo-Light Republican.
Grimm is 1 of the 3 most liberal Republicans and an amnesty supporter.
This young gun could wasting this district from 2014-2024. Or we could get a Democrat in and replace them with a conservative and have conservative rule from 2016-2024.
Grimm will never cast the 218th vote for the conservative agenda.
I should have been a bit more clear on who “they” are. “They”, that I speak of, is the Republican Party in New York. The dems could give a chit about him, but the e-pubbies hate him. Grimm was backed by the Tea Party.

The district was 50/50 Obama. That was before the low information voters found out about Obamacare and De Blasio.
Grimm also attacked the Democrat in 2010 who was trying to pass the Dream Act. Now he supports it.
The only borough that is majority white.
They had a black woman take the faster coastal route during Sandy storm surge and her kids drowned and the media tried to turn some random guy on the street into George Zimmerman.
