The Democratic National Committee says it has returned $20,000 donated by a wealthy San Francisco Internet entrepreneur recently convicted of domestic violence.

DNC spokeswoman Rebecca Chalif said Friday the organization has returned Gurbaksh Chahal’s 2014 contribution after discovering he pleaded guilty last week to misdemeanor domestic violence battery and battery charges. Chahal was sentenced to three years’ probation and faces no jail time. …

Could be an interesting way to defund the DNC. Just read police reports and find them on donor lists, then make a stink about the DNC keeping criminals' donations and turn their "war against " tactic back onto themselves. Defund by forcing them to return donations by embarrassing criminal donors. And by extension the DNC being OK with it if they don't give back the donation.

Will they recall and fire Alan Grayson for his domestic violence against his wife? Inquiring minds...

It will be interesting how they handle the guy who is on video nearly killing his girlfriend, but got off because the tape was inadmissable — so we know he was guilty, but legally he was freed.

He gave like $100,000 to democrats. So we should pound them until they give HIS money back.

Then there is that other internet guy who likely also gives all his money to democrats, who was just charged with beating some guy up in a road rage incident.

This could be fun.
