Illegals are not de facto citizens, they are de facto residents.
Citizens can vote. Citizens cannot be deported for committing felonies. Citizens can more easily and legally bring relatives here. No, we should not make these criminals citizens. I have no problem with legal immigration, which we should expand to the point that there is no room for illegals to come as criminals, but crime should never be rewarded.
They are not citizens, de facto or any other kind. They are ILLEGAL!!! In any country but the USSA they would have been sent off as soon as they surfaced. Obama and Holder are committing a CRIMINAL act by not enforcing the law.
Just stop giving them jobs and free stuff.

They looked at the plummeting violent crime rates in Los Angeles as illegals began displacing blacks starting in the early 90’s. They decided to take this low-budget urban renewal program national regardless of its effects on smaller cities (ex: Palmdale, CA) - because the “people who matter” don’t live there, anyway. If we weren’t still encouraging illegal entrance, and illegal activity, we probably could come to an agreement about some of these people who are already here.
But you’ve got a crowded theater with paying customers stuck outside the proper entrance because the seats are full, and there are people walking in through the emergency exits and standing on the stairs, and the pro-immigrant crowd is arguing about whether the folks who previously came through the emergency exits and took someone’s popcorn and are now sitting in the center of a row should be allowed to stay because it is just too hard to make everybody stand up to get them out of the row.
