Why? Do you think we make a difference to world powers? Are you frightened?

How about we just do what we do, and not worry about what anyone else thinks?

That's how I think too much of the time. The "why" of my post isn't worth attempting to explain if a FReeper (or anyone else) doesn't intuitively or by his experience understand the "why". Honest.

Frightened? Not really; it's more of a heightened awareness of impending turbulence. If I were scared witless, what's it to you?

Make a difference to world powers? No, johnny; I guess your words on FR won't make any difference to how world events unfurl at all. But if too many Americans in the early 1940's felt about this matter as you do...well, you know; We would by now be other than a Free Republic.

Your response to my post indicates your unwillingness for fulfilling my hope: not to say more on FR than we ought to for a while. Okay.
