“Gen Patton was never “cowed” by any “group” think institutions......he was exceptional and a genius and would be drugged today in our current school system.”

Patton was dyxlexic as a youngster, so he had great difficulties in reading. To work around his disability, he learned how to memorize speech. He would have someone else read the classical literature to him, and he memorized the material to recite it back as needed.

Isn’t it amazing that in the days before special education programs, the method of learning was work a little harder?
