FWIW, not one thing that has been posted from Russia Today by those opposed to the Kiev government has been shown to be false. Yet, in quite a few instances, the major sources have been shown to be inaccurate. Two examples are the images of "one Russian soldier" in several pictures and Kiev's early declarations that the RightSector/Swoboda did not have disproportionate representation in the coup government.

What would be nice to hear is the Kiev government constantly emphasizing that things stay as they are until there's a vote. I can't imagine that this "removing terrorists" rhetoric is inspiring most Ukranian voters to like or trust them. What it does is create fear, which is the way of oppressive governments.

An easy example of RT lying:

If you look at RT news during the Crimea crisis, they blatantly claimed that the Russian troops that Putin sent into Crimea were really Crimean "self-defense squads".

Proof:

Crimean military thwarts sabotage of gas plant feeding peninsula (March 15th)

Crimea creates own military by swearing in self-defense units (March 10th)

Crimean self-defense squads in stand off with Ukrainian soldiers at Belbek airport (March 4th)

Crimean self-defense squads enter Belbek airbase (March 22nd)

Then on April 17th Putin actually went on live television and admitted that the 'self-defense squads' were in fact Russian troops.

So they had no choice but to change their propaganda line, although they made sure to spin it as well as they could.

Putin acknowledges Russian military serviceman were in Crimea

That's just the tip of the iceberg.
