Only in America, because we were founded on the classic liberalism of Locke and Jefferson, and we kicked out the conservatives of the day, the Tories. So when we “conserve” our traditions, it’s the tradition of liberty. In Europe classic conservatism was monarchy, state religion, and is now associated with statism and nationalism. That causes much confusion when we Americans talk about politics in Europe.
Today was my day off so I enjoyed the beautiful weather.

I now move over to sports radio when Carr comes on. Mark Levin would too if he listened to him enough.
A man like Richard Tisei would get blasted out of the studio by a principled conservative like Mark Levin, so should Carr.
Best thing to happen to me recently was getting satellite radio for my afternoon commute.
Carr’s brand of radio is aimed at the fundamentally stupid.
Really, a political program that promotes a dead pool, the best of TV programs, and incessant book promoting is not exactly what I consider to be intelligent radio. Most of the content is incredibly insipid but I suppose that constitutes ‘consevativism’ Boston style.
