I have been informed today by another poster that FR is fully behind TPX. I wish to caution all FReepers to keep wary eyes on TPX to insure they don’t end up as a good start for the Tea Party but GOPe-Lite in the end.
Taxed Enough Already began as and still is a movement of and by Constitutional conservative Americans increasingly fed up with the GOPe lack of adequate representation and effectiveness.

You may have seen recent reports that political bosses in the Republican Party are working feverishly to officially nominate Bill Cassidy -- before you've even had a chance to vote and make your voice heard.
These are the same people who gave us failed candidates who lost to Mary Landrieu and who now say that Cassidy should be our only choice. To do this, senior party officials are collecting signatures from among members of the State Central Committee to recognize Cassidy as the official nominee. So far, they've had trouble getting even a few hundred signatures, but if they do, Cassidy will get on the ballot by paying a small filing fee of just a few hundred dollars.
But there is one thing we can do to fight back and show the establishment that we won't let them select one of their moderate friends over One of Us: We can circulate our own petition. State law allows anyone to run for U.S. Senate in Louisiana if they collect at least 5,000 valid signatures from voters across the state.
Let's show the bosses that not only are there 5,000 people who want Col. Maness to have a chance, but that there's a team of conservative supporters who will collect the signatures he needs to give him that chance!

They don't need you to speak for them, get over yourself and stop dissing the TPX and posting your opinions about them as facts.
We are quite aware what the TPM is all about.
