WASHINGTON President Obama announced Monday that he was naming W. Neil Eggleston, a veteran lawyer with extensive experience representing government officials in congressional and criminal investigations, as his next White House counsel.
In choosing a veteran of Washingtons recurring oversight wars, the White House may be signaling that it expects the final two years of Mr. Obamas presidency to be defined by politically charged hearings, demands for information by Republicans in Congress and legal battles over the scope and limits of executive authority.

Perhaps the best thing — maybe their internal polls indicate the Republicans hold the house and take the senate.
Could also mean more shoes to drop in the IRS, Benghazi and Atkinson scandals. Remember, someone illegally tapped Atkinson’s computer...accusations to come?

Hope he has the correct ideology. With this administration, it’s more important than education and experience. He has to be adept at twisting the law to defend the driveler-in-chief and his Marxist agenda.
In other words, a ‘wartime consigliere’.
Documents being withheld by the WH likely show that Obama was in on the scheme.
Ya think he thinks that his golden tarnish is turning to lead, and in enough weight, to sink him?
