I'm not opposed to criticism. By all means, write them, call them, attend their town halls and criticize them as much as you like, especially before the primaries.

But by the general election, if you have a choice between a GOPe squish, who will vote with conservatives maybe 40% to 60% of the time and an ObaMao RAT, who might throw us a bone maybe 5% of the time, if that, then the choice should be clear.

There is NO moral equivalence between an overt Marxist and a moderate squish. Not even close.

Moral equivalence is not the issue. It’s the voting equivalence that’s the issue. And there would be NO difference between Susan Collins and a democrat, except that it would artificially increase the republican caucus numbers, until, like Jim Jeffords, she becomes an independent because “the republican party moved away from me.”

I’d rather not have these people in our midst and attending our meetings, so they can tell their buddies the democrats what the republican strategies are, like Arlen Specter used to do.
