Still shining about the unpaid grazing fees yet not a whimper about the millions spent by the BLM to “round up” the cattle (many of which were simply shot or run to death). This whole mess is an attempt by the federal government to show that they are the masters and we are the peasants and we better not forget it.

Comes a point when the gov’t decides the cost of not enforcing now will be exceeded by those who take encouragement to likewise not obey. Yeah, $3m to enforce now is greater than $1m allegedly owed, but if they don’t then others will also disobey to cumulative costs orders of magnitude greater.
Alas, enforcing now will likewise inspire the opposition: take down Bundy now, and see far more tyrant ensue.
Time’s up. Like it or not, people are moving to light a fuse.
