It was a fairly detailed article. But you had to get down to the bottom before they talked about exporting oil or condensates.

Reality is, we are importing nearly as much crude oil as we produce ourselves. The exports of refined products are not really due to increased oil production, but rather decreased domestic consumption combined with some refinery expansions.

It has been a pretty steady decline in the refined exports to imports. We are using less while refining more.

We need to be more like Europe where gas is about $7-7.50 a gallon. That’s why they drive clown cars with stick shifts.
