W was in great shape and encourage those around him by example. While George W was in the White House he was on a rigorous daily fitness routine that bulked him up considerably. In addition to his not drinking or smoking, he stayed off the golf courses after 9-11, facts that few people seem to appreciate.

I can’t stand it. Remember when W fell off his mountain bike? The press hardly covered it, other than to show the bruises on his face. But the fact is that he is a truly gifted athlete. He fell that day hauling ass down hill. He didn’t jog for show like Slick, but was fast. As I recall his 5K times were 8-1/2 minute mile paced runs until his knee made him transition to the bike.
I am an older athlete too, and was always impressed by W’s abilities and knew at the time that had only W been a liberal, we would have read about it on the front page every week.
Instead, liberals (commies) can’t stop lying.

It could be that State dinners and receptions are taxpayer-funded as State business and they have to reimburse for their private meals in their own quarters. I would suppose that when traveling they get a generous per diem for food.

Seems to me that W was the most Athletic President in the White House since perhaps Teddy Roosevelt. (Most Presidents tend to become too old to remain physically athletic once they arrive at the White House)
