I’m real leery of a constitutional convention, for many reasons. What’s to stop OFA, Soros, Bloomberg, International ANSWER, Occupy and many other such people from showing up and obliterating the constitution? Remember: Hitler gained power through legitimate means, not a coup de etat.
Most people do not think that will happen, especially the ones that desire to promote this procedure...
Those people believe they can control the delegates, and therefore correct the problems by filtering the voice of the people...
The forces of liberalism/socialism are just sitting back waiting for that opportunity, and the welcome mat will be rolled right out there in front of them and by then it’ll be too late...
Kiss the BoR’s away, and anything else that stands in the way of the Fabian socialists and their ilk...
But again, some people just do not see that potential...
And to be honest the desire to “filter” the delegation reeks of liberalism and it falls right into their template of how they conduct business in the first place...
But Nooooooo, “Steve, you need to lighten up!!! We can fix this!!!”
