Agree. I never go to Chicago without scheduling an extra day to go to Wrigley. It’s a special place.
Once, when I was there for a company meeting, they took 20 of us to the rooftop bleachers across the street..fascinating experience..worth doing once...on my bucket list, the next time I make it up to Fenway...is a ticket atop the Green Monster..
My Best Baseball Moment in Chicago was a throw Bo Jackson made from left field at new Comiskey. Two out, man on second, big lead, runner going with the pitch, breaking ball, ground ball in the hole. Jackson, bad hip and all, throws the runner out at the plate on a rope that reaches the plate at 85 mph 6” above the ground. I’m in the fourth row behind the plate and can see the runner’s eyes as the ball hits the catcher’s mitt.
