MICH. UTILITY CANCELS 'DUCK DYNASTY' CONTEST AFTER SINGLE COMPLAINT

Yes, it's Lansing BWL. Serkaian is a useless toady mouthpiece--I'm interested in knowing who actually made this decision. It doesn't specify what "long-standing event" the look-alike contest was to be a part of--I assume it's the BWL's annual Chili Cook-Off. I stink at links but this is the event:

After BWL's disasterous response to December's ice storm, and the beating BWL is still taking in the local press, I'm not one bit surprised at this knee-jerk reaction. Lansing has a vicious and vocal LGBT community, and BWL probably figured that the queer backlash would outweigh the backlash from the rest of us. It'll be interesting to see how it plays out.
