Another pigmentation surprise
I had a rain check for an item, 6 for $10. I bought two. The cashier looked at me and said “I’m not good at math, any idea how much two costs?” She was nice enough about it but all I could think is how does someone get into high school — forget college — not knowing this. Society is crumbling from all angles.
Don’t worry. They announced they are dumbing down the SATs even further today.
Your comment reminded me of a poster my Dad had given me when I was a kid. It had a painting of the aftermath of some of the fighting during the Barbary Wars, where American sailors were tending to the pirates wounded. There was a quote from one of the defeated pirates who reportedly stated (and I am paraphrasing from memory) that the Americans “in battle, were as fierce as tigers, but in victory, as kind as musselmen.” I remember asking Dad what musselmen were, and he said it meant a man of faith, or a priest. I believe that is the general trait of the American fighting man. Fight like hell, but be merciful to your enemy when the fighting is done. What this boy did was in that tradition.
Back in my jr high days, we had a big “Amish” girl who had a fifty pound advantage on the majority of us 80 crackers. She could run roughshod over us and most would not fight back as she was a girl.
Then one day a new kid from the big city came to school, and shortly thereafter beat the tar out of the big heifer. He had no constraints about hitting girls.
That settled her down through jr high, and into high school. I think gravity took over soon after and she got so big that walking was a struggle. Self induced body mass increase I might add!

“Musselmen” was an archaic rendering of “muslim.” The Barbary pirates were muslim, and therefore could treat defeated infidels in any manner they liked (mostly quite cruelly). But they were bound by the Koran to treat defeated muslims humanely (in theory, at least). So the pirate was saying that the Americans fought fiercely, but were as compassionate as a muslim was supposed to be towards the pirates when the pirates lost. Not exactly as ringing an endorsement as one would like...
Obama’s kids started this. When the boy retaliated another of obama’s kids took a swing at him.
Looks to me like the little brat got what she deserved.... Doubt she’ll bother him again. This is how bullying gets taken care of.. Of course, the fact a little girl thinks she could take on a kid twice her size in the first place shows you how insanely poorly she was raised as far as I’m concerned. I think the kid showed insane restraint while dealing with this little feral beast.

Yep because the lower socio economic groups are disadvantaged in be able to do well on them. More liberal tripe. I was a poor white kid growing up in rural Colorado nobody gave me squat...except maybe a hard time.
It looked like he went into survival mode when she started kicking him in the head. Naturally, once he got the advantage, her brother became “concerned.”

From the sound of her voice, the adult was black, and appeared to be not that concerned when it was black-on-white violence.
Once the girl began using her feet, it became a felony. The adult in charge has a duty to protect. Regardless of the reasons the bus driver was giving for not stopping, I hope the boy’s parents sue the Bus driver, the school, and the parents. And get the boy enrolled in a self defense course. Although it appeared that some instincts kicked in and the nonsense soon stopped.
