An EU Bill of Rights that overrides British laws is becoming a reality, the vice-president of the European Commission has said.
Viviane Reding said that people in European member states will in future be able to rely on the EU charter of fundamental rights.
The European Commission wants to enforce the charter, which enshrines 54 basic rights in EU law, in all member states.
Senior British judges have warned that the EU charter has already taken hold in Britain by stealth and Chris Grayling, the Justice Secretary, has said he is prepared to go to court in an attempt to halt the spread of European human rights laws.
Mr Grayling reacted furiously to Mrs Redings comments and said they show why we need a major re-think of our future relationship with the EU.

Even with a quick glance, this is a VERY, VERY bad document. Leaving aside the homosexual agenda and pro-abort agendas being inculcated, the so-called "rights" place others in involuntary servitude.
Obama would love this document.
Gay rights, abortion on demand and atheism. The liberal trifecta.
And people question why the Ukrainians are fighting in the streets to remove themselves from the influence of the sodomite EU.

You were a great idea whose time, according to the EU, has passed.
But seriously, you notice how most are written so openly as ANYTHING could be interpreted as violating or reinforcing each article. The lawyers on both sides would have a field day with these touchy-feely "laws".
