I watched a youtube vid of the big confrontation and it seemed to be almost all males at the front.
Anyone that would use women as a shield could use a good ass kickin.

Baloney, Sheriff Mack was only one man and maybe he had a dozen followers. There were hundreds of people there and all could think for themselves. I was there and no one had a death wish. I’ll tell you this that the women there were Tigers and would have fought tooth and nail. They would have been upfront because many were already in front exercising their free will.

For some historical perspective, let us remember that Dr. Martin Luther King sent children as young as six years old en masse into the face of Bull Connor’s water cannon and dogs at Birmingham in 1963.
One of those children involved was his niece, Alveda King.
Connor’s forces were diverted by the children while the adults were able to breach the police lines and reach protest areas downtown.
It was the turning point of the Civil Rights Movement.
It was controversial at the time with a lot of anger from white and black media, but it happened just the same.
The federales burnt children alive at Waco and made an assassination head shot against Vicki Weaver while she was holding a baby at Ruby Ridge. Don't pretend that they slow down for a second for women or children. Only put the women in the front line if they are the best shots for returning fire.
You need to cool it.
Sheriff Mack seldom errs, he did this time. But this doesn’t make the BLM effort any less onerous. I’m still itching for a fight with Reid’s army of federales. This heavy-handed Nazi crap has to stop.
It has been done by notable people from the leftists, the hippies, and the Civil Rights bunch.
But if serious physical confrontations are anticipated, especially gunplay, only the left would put women in harm's way unless they decided to be there. Many ranch/farm women I know would not back down from a scrap.
The Norks and Chinese marched women and children ahead of their troops as human shields, cowboys don't, and this sounds like a smear to make those who rose to the Bundys defense out to be cowards.
Expect attacks from all directions, and especially on the web. If they can get traction with some nonsense, they will flog it.
There were plenty of women there of their own free will anyway.
I understand your disgust with the idea of using women for shields. But it is far from fair to hold the Bundys responsible for everything the hundreds of people who went there said or did.
