San Antonio-based NuStar Energy LP this week celebrated the opening of its new dock at the Port of Corpus Christi, built to move crude oil from the Eagle Ford Shale.
NuStar now has three loading docks in the Port of Corpus Christi and has upgraded and added to the terminals pump systems. Its North Beach Terminal has a capacity of 400,000 barrels per day.
The new dock was scheduled to be complete in the second quarter but finished early. NuStar moved its first load of crude from the new dock in mid-February.
It held a ceremony Thursday with executives, employees port officials and Corpus Christi area officials.
The NuStar dock is part of a wave of construction at the Port of Corpus Christi. Last summer, the port started moving more oil to other U.S. ports than importing foreign oil a historic reversal.
Amazing all that is proceeding despite the FEDGOV. Thanks thackney.
Sean Hannity has been doing a fantastic job lately with his "Getting America Back to Work" efforts. He has assisted hundreds of people willing to uproot and head to the oilfields to make a living.
Good luck on the work search.
Cheers!
