EXACTLY! You have nailed it.

What part of “support and defend the Constitution of the UNITED STATES against all enemies foreign and domestic” does Jeb Bush not understand?

His very words render him UNFIT for high elected office.

Ahh yes. Everytime I see that pic I wish that I had been there, in the distance, with a sniper rifle. Putting a round just to the right of his index finger would have been well worth the consequences.

Absolutely!

We need to find candidates who can clearly enunciate the point; and keep banging away at it. The key to political success has always been to focus the voter's attention on the right points. Granted it helps to have the funds to pound away over the airwaves. But too many, even among those who should know better, only waste the funds they can raise over soundbites that really do not resonate.

Rove, who led Jeb Bush's brother astray on immigration, literally wasted $300,000,000 in the last election. With even half that amount, spent in the right venues, someone who really understands human psychology, could have stirred up a tidal wave of voter awareness.

Jeb should ask W if he can borrow the “compassionate conservative” line.

how about some compassion for US citizens?

Very good point but they don't think that way. I guess we could ask, how about some compassion for the fatherless mexican children who have fallen into single parent homes because of the pro-illegal cheap labor activists in the United States such as John McCain, the Bushes, Obama who encourage the breaking up of Mexican families for that cheap labor. How about some compassion for the Central American children who were abandoned in a dangerous part of Mexico and left without food or water as the GOPe/Democrat supported slave labor parents of these children continued north without the kids?

How about some compassion for Mexico and the Mexican people who stayed home and who need these "migrant workers to the US" to stay in Mexico and fight for change within their own country.

It is the anti-Amnesty group that has compassion for the Mexican people, not the other way around.

The only compassion they have is for cheap labor and/or the thought of increasing a voting block for their own parties. That's not compassion, that's selfishness.

We are the real “compassionate conservatives” because we do not support the breaking up of Mexican families so that half the family comes to the US as cheap labor forcing those kids to grow up in single family homes and to be supporting this during the drug cartel problems going on in Mexico these days will only create havoc with the Mexican family in Mexico.

It’s a stretch to refer to the invasion of illegal aliens as an “act of love”.

I worked on the border with BP from 84 to 02. I suppose every time I was shot at, rocked or physically assaulted that it was via an act of love? I guess that I just didn’t know it at the time. Jeb Bush, what a moron.

Who was the last POTUS, PUB or RAT, who actively enforced border and immigration laws?

Since we were attacked on 9/11 and his brother enacted the Great American Lockdown and Surveillance on we, the people?

Neither one as far as I can tell. In fact, just the opposite from top to bottom.

Many in federal, state and local government welcomed illegals with open arms and GuvCo programs, so they'd do the jobs Americans wouldn't do, while pricing Americans out of jobs and careers they used to do.

Before 9/11, it depends on what the meaning of "enforced" is.

Government gave this country away from under its citizens’ feet, didn’t it?

Sure looks that way from here. Not all, but more than enough.

And, the damnedest thing is, we reward them for doing it by re-electing them time after time, election after election.

Wtf?!?, over.
