I dare Derrick to tell Ted “Don’t go there, buddy.”
That “You don’t want to...” part is the key. It’s critical. It exposes his mind set, not to mention his lack of creativity. Apparently in his circles the threat needed no creativity. Now it does.
It begs the question that I really wish he had been asked after making the threat. “Gee, Eric, why don’t I want to go there?”
I’ll bet you could have heard a pin drop if it had been asked (Or a thousand cameras clicking).
He said YOU don’t want to go there? Sounds like he has dirt on the questioner.
You should get the transcript of that entire exchange,Mr. Gohmert was asking Holder how he could give transcripts of interviews in the Holy Land case which Gohmert had asked for 3 years earlier,to lawyers for terrorists, and the terrorists themselves and not give them to Congress?
He then made the statement about holder not caring about contempt, the meat of the exchange has been ignored
Don't go there? Mr. Holder, did you say don't go there? Un-hu....well that is exactly where I am going!.... is what should have been said............
Gee, Eric, why dont I want to go there?
.
Better yet, “Gee Eric, what do you propose to do if I want to go there?”
