“I have more time to go out.. you don’t have to get a sitter”.
Probably an unpopular opinion but if these women feel this way.. they aren’t ready to be a parent. If they only view a child as a “thing” that takes things AWAY from them... I’d prefer they stay with dogs or cats. That being said... don’t come crying to me when you decide YOU are finally read in your 40’s and you have fertility issues. In life, not everything is decided upon YOUR time table. IMHO.

Medical science may soon make that irreverent for people in their 20s. Especially for the wealthy.
Within the next 10-20 years we will see unspeakable breakthroughs and will most likely be able to regenerate nearly every part of the body good as new.
Unless, of course, the ‘rats are successful in bringing us back to the stone age.
I think there’s great sadness behind people choosing not to have children. I wish there was some undiscovered land that all of us could flee to...
Somehow this reminds me of a long-ago "Doonsbury" comic where the subject of a relationship and a child are brought up. The recommendation "Try her out with a puppy" is made.
I wasn’t ready to be a parent until I became one. It took about 90 seconds of holding my newborn to be totally revamped and restructured from a defeated Peter Pan to a triumphant Dad.
