Beer is a meal in a bottle. I should have used that argument years ago.
When the wife and I were starting out and money was tight, I tried to get her to buy a case of beer for about $10.00. She wanted to buy a jar of Nivea cold cream for about the same money.
I argued the beer would make her look better.
Surviving that, I became a wiser man.
