The Lindsey Graham campaign is still trying to defend the establishment incumbent’s “yes” vote on a key ObamaCare measure – not to mention their highly deceptive TV ad that is now running.

“Lindsey Graham still doesn’t get it,” said Lee Bright, the upstate Senator who is the leading challenger to Graham for the Republican nomination. “Leadership takes vision and an understanding of the times. Ted Cruz understands, Graham does not, and that’s why he was joining Team Obama and the Washington establishment in criticizing Cruz at the very moment Cruz was taking the hard stand.”

Bright went on to say, “In their arrogance, their campaign is lecturing us about how Washington works – when the real issue is that Washington doesn’t know how America works. We fully understand. So does Cruz, and he was planting a flag, taking some ground, and making the big point about the big issue of our time. I supported Cruz while Graham was rushing in front of cameras with John McCain to call him a whacko bird.”

Bright added, “This isolation from reality reminds me of when Graham was more concerned about his staffers’ health care choices than the 300 million Americans who do not work in the rich welfare state known as Washington. It’s just astonishing how out of touch...
