Gannett...link only.
This is more than about Hanford; it's about nuclear safety in general across the US in a post-Yucca Mountain government environment under the puppet.

For what it's worth, here's a link to Hanford Challenge, a non-profit formed to seek to protect Hanford workers. http://www.hanfordchallenge.org/
Energy Secretary Earnest Moniz was recently under questioning on The Hill regarding the WTP cleanup & whether the DOE would be able to meet cleanup goals with a $98 Million cut from the Hanford cleanup under Bama's 'budget'...he didn't have any answer for that.

Meanwhile Rats are making jokes about naming Yucca Mountain after Reagan while not addressing the real danger of not having a permanent high-level waste repository after Reid's Nevada pocketed BILLIONS building it. Playing Russian-roulette with nuclear workers' & civilians' lives...but a Billion$$ or so for increased gun-control is 'good public policy'... /s
Radiation & nuclear apologists at FR: No radiation was reported for this Hanford event. No histrionics here. Go back to bed.
Since I realize that Hanford really doesn’t enter the national news with any frequency, here’s a link to Hanford’s Dirty Secrets page from the same linked site
Thanks, logo-cal869. Hanford looks like an old tire warehouse; I drove past it a couple of times. Seemed to lack security and to be very flimsily built. It’s too close to the Columbia River to the South and the prevailing eastward winds can contaminate farmland with radioactive dust.. People in Spokane and Coeur d’Alene should be up in arms about it — two rather conservative towns. But then, Spokane has an open pit uranium mine that nobody seems to know or care about.
Commonsense says, the DOE needs to halt the treatment plant construction and have the funds reappropriated to new tank construction ASAP.
Hanford was the original Gov. slush fund started under Clinton.
Billions were poured into Washington State.
Much was funneled off to promote the early push on Global Warming.
Nothing would promote the regime’s agenda than a nuclear incident.
