Attorney General Eric Holder must take seriously congressional allegations against former IRS official Lois Lerner if he is to be trusted as the nation's top law enforcement official, Rep. Trey Gowdy says.
"What happened today was really big . . . You remember when the president said there's not a smidgen of criminality?" Gowdy, a South Carolina Republican, told "The Steve Malzberg Show" on Newsmax TV.
"So, now you have the Ways and Means, which is one of the more widely respected committees in Congress, sending three separate, potential criminal acts to the Department of Justice and a referral.
"This is a perfect opportunity for [Holder] to prove his law enforcement credentials and not his political credentials . . . If you want to be taken seriously as a top law enforcement official in the country, you better handle this investigation in a way that generates public confidence," Gowdy said Wednesday.

We need to figure out a way to work Trey Gowdy upwards in the authority chain, maybe, even, to president someday.
So far, he seems way too good and commonsense to leave at his level.

The Attorney General is a fascist the same as Obama....except Obama stays cool under fire while seething inwardly with well-concealed rage....while Adolf Holder seethes with overt, uncontrolled, erupting anger when someone turns the heat on him.

I make a habit never to refer to the occupier of the White House as "President".
Trey is wasting his breath with Get Whitey Holder.
He can’t prosecute because she may give up his boss.
The congress cannot be so naive as to give this to holder for delay after delay.
It needs to go independent.
He's a man with a plan, an agenda....and the energy, money, backers and abilities to do even more damage out of office than in.
He and Moochelle Antoinette will surely miss the trappings of his office, but she can still live in high-income luxury....and he will enjoy considerably more freedom to plot his own course to destroy this country.
I just hope he leaves office in some sort of utter disgrace or scandal that would throw a wrench into any nefarious future plans he holds.
