The only arms used during the Kiev protests were the ones used to gun down close to a hundred protesters. Note that the Russian stooge Yanukovich attempted to abolish the two linchpins of a free society - freedom of speech and freedom of assembly. The protesters were well within their rights to participate in armed revolution, never mind unarmed protests.
