Then the bill is NOT a good thing.
Unanimous approval only happens when there is something nasty hidden in the bill.

What’s not to like about Senator Cruz?
I’m very happy to have that Texan working for me!

They should let him show up in New York and then arrest him.

Who would want THAT on their record?

Cruz can now use this as an example that he's a uniter and not a divider.
Hey, it's politics!

The Senate unanimously passed a bill sponsored by Sen. Ted Cruz Monday night, which would block known terrorists from getting visas to enter the United States as U.N. ambassadors. Of course they all voted for it...because they know it's meaningless. The headquarters agreement between the U.S. and the UN says the United States cannot block any representative of the UN from entering the country and working at the UN headquarters. This legislation can't be enforced. And I assume Ted Cruz knows it.

The bill seems like a no-brainer to begin with. You’d have to be a blithering idiot to NOT agree with this.

Imagine the commercials that could be run against anyone that dared to vote against this?? Democrats were probably sweating as they approved this.
Damned smart move on Cruz’s part!!

This is good. Sponsorship and unanimous passage of this bill will come in handy in the 2016 debates when demonstrating leadership while discussing national security issues.
