[Did Libya ever attack NATO???]

For many years Libya, and particularly the Port of Benghazi, served as a gateway for smuggling illegal migrants from Africa into Europe. The Europeans made official complaints for years. Qaddafi, in his tilt toward the West, finally began cracking down on this racket in 2010. This upset businessmen in eastern Libya who incited the insurrection. This group also cut a deal with BP, offering to sell them oil cheaper than the rate under Qaddafi if BP could talk the Brits and NATO into toppling Qaddafi. BP, who is joined at the hip with Obama, also helped persuade the White House to join the fracas.

Since the demise of the Qaddafi family the power vacuum has been filled by gangs of thugs. Which may be why the U.S. press barely covers Libya anymore.
