The United Statess uninsured rate is at its lowest level since 2008, according to a survey Gallup released Monday.
During the first quarter of this year, the number of people without health insurance dropped to 15.6 percent.
That rate represents a drop of 1.5 percentage points since the fourth quarter of last year, Gallup found.
Gallup found that as the March 31 deadline for enrolling in federal and state health exchanges under ObamaCare approached, more people obtained health insurance.
It found the uninsured rate has dropped about the same amount among adults ages 26 to 64 and those ages 18 to 25.
Between the end of last year and the end of March, the uninsured rate has dropped about 2 percentage points among those ages 18 to 25.

Good news for bureaucrats passionately in love with red tape.
Garbage in garbage out. A poll is not fact
Since the last quarter of last year when 10 million people lost their insurance?
If I read this correctly, in spite of spending hundreds of billions to get more people insured with Obamacare, we still have a lower insured rate than we did the last time the GOP controlled the White House and Congress in January 2007.
just people going onto medicare and medicaid. those numbers have shot up.
Opinion polls are no longer OPINION polls. I remember when the results of a poll said “26% INCORRECTLY answered that Obama is a muslim”. How can an opinion be incorrect? That would be like saying “47% of those polled incorrectly said they wanted Romney to be president”.
As for this poll, they have no ideal how many people are insured. They simply know how many the government TOLD them had signed up.
So in other words we had less people uninsured BEFORE ObamaramaCare was even a wet dream
From what I have read, most of the people who signed up for Obamacare are not certain if they have it or not. If the government does not know how many paid, how can anybody know who is insured?
Nice to see that the Ministry of Propaganda is hard at work today...
