I have no problem with the basic childhood vaccines that I received but have no interest in getting vaccinated against something that might or might not cause me some discomfort later in life.

As far as lifespans are concerned, I think the stats are mostly crap. In my genealogy research I’m finding lots of males in my family were living well into their 70s and 80s back into the 1500s. (before vaccinations) Females tended to die younger mostly because they spent so much of their lives pregnant. Children were the hardest hit but they didn’t have the benefit of our basic childhood vaccines OR any other modern hygiene or medicine.

As far as the title of the article is concerned it sounds like something that would ooze out of the mouth of Alan Greyson.

People downplay the role of sanitation. Cholera would be extremely limited in its spread today thanks to wastewater treatment. Food handling makes a lot of 19th century illnesses hardly heard of. Thekey here is proven vaccines. Some are not so much in that category.

Spot on - We have our 'tree' done, some as far back as 400.

but just our lines in the 1600's - in Plymouth. They lived good long lives - and when they died - it was natural and not long , lingering deaths.

This was after leaving the poluted Old World' behind, eating fresh, vegetables un-laced with GOMs, Growth Hormones, chemicals, antibiotics - and having fresh, clean water - not recycled sewer water with prescrioptions drugs intact, not bleached, etc -

They grew separate herb gardens.

For example, take a few of the more prominant Mayflower Pilgrims: Elder William Brewster - died just shy of 80th birthday - Gov. Wm. Bradford wrote of his death - he felt ill one day and died the next "He was near fourscore years of age (if not all out) when he died. He had this blessing added by the Lord to all the rest; to die in his bed, in peace, amongst the midst of his friends,..."

John and Priscilla Alden: John died age 88, Priscilla, age 83.

Gov. Bradford, died relatively younger - at 67 - his wife, Alice, died age 80

Myles Standish died age 75

John Howland - died age 81, his wife died age 80

Well, you get the picture.

BTW, you staunch defenders of the vaccines who proclaim, unequivocably that vaccines aren't connected to Autism - Please tell us how it is that the rise of Autism has the identical rise in incidence chart as the use of these multiple vaccines?

IOW, if you KNOW vaccines have no connection, then tell us what does?

Explain this: Rates of all forms of autism in the U.S. may be substantially higher than previously estimated, according to a new government report that found that 1 out of every 50 school-age children – roughly one on every school bus – has the condition.

That's dramatically higher than the 1 in 88 announced by a different government agency last year."

Explain this:
