The key is “proven vaccines”. Yes some are tired and true. Others not so much. And some like like flu vaccines show no benefit. It’s become a money making machine with the usual canards and derision for those who don’t blindly trust the medical profession. I’m sorry but with so many instances of medical malpractice from Fen-Phen to the insane overdiagnosing of learning disabilities resulting in millions of child speed junkies, one is a fool not to view any of these medical mantras suspiciously.

“And some like like flu vaccines show no benefit. “

Actually, the flu vaccine does show benefit. Where do you get your information that it doesn’t?

It’s not so much a case of no benefit as it is a gamble. Perhaps the flu strains that are projected for a fall/winter season will be the common strains, and match with the prescribed vaccine, and again, perhaps not. That was the big deal with the Swine Flu, the projections were off. So, in short the flu isn’t without benefit., it’s an educated guess at which kind of vaccine will work. Even the doctors also warn you about the reality that the vaccine isn’t a license to throw away common sense regarding hygiene.
