Compromise is beneficial if it leads to a solution, but on gun control it would only be an incremental step toward the left’s ultimate goal of total confiscation. I admit to harboring extreme views on gun control because compromise would accomplish nothing. It is not a solution until the other side agrees to accept it with some sense of finality and not an incremental victory. To preserve our 2nd Amendment rights, the left gives us no alternative to an extremist position.

And it’s not a compromise unless both sides GET something. And your enemies settling for stealing less from you isn’t “getting something”. They’d have to give up something they already have to make it a compromise.
