One of the best ways to survive the grotesque and empty power pageantry of Washington's annual State of the Union extravaganza is by visiting the University of California, Santa Barbara's online archive of past addresses and looking up the speeches that corresponded to where the current POTUS sits in his term. Barack Obama took the podium during a midterm election year in his second term, corresponding to the addresses of George W. Bush in 2006, Bill Clinton in 1998 all the way back to George Washington in 1794.
A “Democratic Ronald Reagan” is a contradiction in terms; the best he could have hoped for is to be a Democratic Nikolai Lenin, and in this he’s been a runaway success.
America is not in morning, but reeling from embarrassment. The entire US went into PC celebratory overdrive and now we’re a completely humiliated nation.
We’ve lost face.

This comparison is totally off the mark.
Reagan was an attractive, charismatic figure.
Obama was just black. No one was listening to him and they
definitely didn’t vote on his character. It was all about
his color.
Only a fool would think that an Obama could even hold a
candle to a person of as strong a moral character as
Reagan. They were about as opposite as a turd and a rose.

Anyway, I’ve been making that comparison since the tard
said “fundamentally change America”. It is history
repeating it’s self.
If zippy where white he would have been impeached by now. The rats and thier financiers here and abroad used thier most lethal weapon racism to create a sock puppet that no matter how bad he is he would never be removed becuase of the fear of being labeled. Bravo!
Indeed. And that’s just one of the reasons why we are in mourning.
