Not to mention that Bob’s pals in the newsroom hate gun rights, and suppress all news in which guns provide a benefit, and amplify only those in which a gun causes a harm.

Bob’s not betting on gun safety, he’s betting on news bias, (and you’re right, it’s a sucker’s bet).
