I just loaded Safari. I’m using it now. Seems a little buggy. The “Safari has encountered a problem....” prompt continues to pop up, or another. How can I debug Javascript? Thanks. BTW, I’m using this on my Dell XP.

Since Safari doesn't have a native Linux port nor is source code available, it's a non-starter for me. I only use apps that I can build from source. As much as I hate to say it in light of recent developments, nothing comes close for debugging JavaScript as do the various plugins for Firefox.

My working environment is strictly Unix and its clones: Linux, BSD and Solaris. I've pinged Shadow Ace who might be able to enlist his troops for a solution. Sorry that I couldn't be more helpful but NT, XP, Vista and such are a whole 'nother world to me.

Thank, re_nortex, for you help. I appreciate it. The family’s not too happy at this moment. When I uninstalled Firefox I failed to transfer our bookmarks.

Is there a way to retrieve the bookmarks?
