That “Mission Accomplished” banner was for that ship completing the longest deployment of an aircraft carrier ever. But the media made sure to spin it in a way to hurt Bush. What would they have done if that was Obama?

I think what drove them crazy about that event is they knew what a powerful image it was of Bush in a flight suit on the deck of that carrier. They had to tarnish that image.
Not the media but the Dems, and it wasn't till Iraq went to hell that they were able to use it. And use it they did and did and it was gold to them.
The media wouldn't have covered it if Iraq didn't get worse every year.
The parallels between Dems (Obama) and Obamacare and GOP (GWB) and Iraq invasion are amazing. Maybe thats why GWB seems so sympathetic to Obama.
