Excellent, but I fear the French will not the learn the lessons needed. Sarkozy hardly chipped away at the welfare state in France and he was thrown out of office. Let’s hope the Conservative French stand up for good.

I don’t know, I think it’s a groundswell of enough is enough. Not too long ago the French also protested so much, in the streets, against fag marriage, that the gov had to back down.
