God Blog: Noah the movie drowns in a flood of hyper-environmentalism
Tulsa World ^ | Tuesday, April 1, 2014 | Bill Sherman

But the movie crossed the line for me when it became clear that Moses believed the Creator’s mission was to wipe out humanity so that the Earth could be restored to its pristine innocence, a world with animals, but without mankind, the kind of hyper-environmentalism we have come to expect from Hollywood.

And that Noah believed the Creator was asking him not only to make a huge boat to save the animals, but also to murder his own grandchildren so that no women would remain to procreate, ensuring the demise of the human race.

In the end, with his knife poised over his newborn twin granddaughters, Noah could not bring himself to do it, and so he believed that after all his work and sacrifice building the ark, he ultimately failed in the mission the Creator gave him.

Hollywood turns the whole story on its head. Instead of a tale of the Creator’s grace to save mankind, and give the human race a fresh start, it becomes, at least in Noah’s eyes, a botched plot to eliminate mankind.

The studio LIED through their teeth saying that it was movie about the Noah story which was faithful to the Bible.

INSTEAD ... viewers were SNOOKERED into watching leftist, liberal, 'green' and enviro-whacko environmentalism - just like the GLOBAL WARMING stuff they try to foist on us.

Here in this movie, it was nothing but a PROPAGANDA HIT PIECE against the values of normal Americans ... by these liberal, leftist, 'green' enviro-whackos!

In regards to the movie “Noah” — what people need to realize is the studio and the director made a liberal, leftist, ‘green’, global warming and enviro-whacko PROPAGANDA HIT PIECE against the foundations of Christianity and the Bible — and instead, sneaking in their enviro-whacko IDEOLOGY as the basis of the movie!

Dennis Prager, in the following Freeper posting, explains what is going on, in our culture. This movie NOAH is a prime example of how that works.

Judaism, Christianity, Environmentalism

Note to Christians and those who believe the Bible: The producer of the movie “Noah,” a self-professed atheist, says he is proud of the fact that he’s taken a story inspired by God’s word and turned it into something so secular.

Take a look at this for more understanding about “what is going on” in that movie.

As Prager explains it (linked up above) — the “something so secular” is actually a RELIGION. Yes, the seculars do have a religion, and that religion that is taking the secular world by storm comes under the “Church of Environmentalism”.

That “church” and that “religion” is what is on display in that movie.

I hope the name was an error.

Aside from Moses not being the biblical personage in question, how could one rationally expect Hollywood to point out that The Almighty was purging the world of wickedness?

Especially considering that same sort of wickedness is promoted and glorified by Hollywood?

You aren't going to get olives off the grape vine, folks.

Actually, it was more like the movie "PROMETHEUS".

Yeah, it’s one thing when the Hollywood mentality of making movies “does not include” the true Biblical ideas (and we’ve all seen that) — but this is different in that they (and the director in this instance) is aggressively pushing the RELIGION of the liberals and leftists — the “church of Environmentalism” - which we fight so strongly here.

SO ... let’s say you didn’t in the least care whether there was a true Biblical message or not, and maybe you’re a conservative who follows neither Christianity or Judaism — you’re still going to have to contend with the fact that this is a PROPAGANDA HIT PIECE against the values of normal Americans — in terms of environmentalism, more government control limiting man, giving animals more rights than man, trying to eliminate mankind (i..e., “reduce population”), supporting the “theology” of global warming and all of the “Religion of Environmentalism”. THAT is their religion.

Most likely ... as we’ve all done that sort of thing, one way or another.

Only in Hollywood, do you let an avowed atheist direct “Noah” and then expect success. Of course he hijacked it and poured his views into it and is probably laughing at the studio for funding him.

They have the exact same religion as the Khmer Rouge.
And that road only leads to one destination.

Yep, I’ve seen a report or two, in those articles I listed up above, where the director was not completely clear about what he was going to do. He set out to make this a movie about the “religion of Environmentalism” - which is the exact thing we fight against here.

So one can actually forget about the issue of whether it was faithful to the Bible or not - because this movie has nothing to do with that. It was meant to be and designed to be an enviro-whacko hit piece against the values of normal Americans - and in favor of the secular religion of the liberals, leftists and Marxists!

"Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how did you enjoy the play?"

I can't understand how people who defend this movie from a Christian perspective when the core message is exactly wrong and evil.

I found it interesting that the movie emphasized the ZPG fantasy of getting rid of human beings to preserve earth. This falls right in with the current obsession of the elites to downsize the “useless” breathers. I also found it interesting that he was pushing the Gnostic/Kaballist religion (Madonna would be pleased with that) as a replacement theology given that he claims to be an atheist. Either way this is but one more example of the attempts to redefine Christianity to the dumbed-down masses who can’t be bothered with reading and get all their information from video.

Yeah, I know what you mean ... but at the same time as you say that - you find that this type of conversation then “pigeon-holes” the conversation into just a limited “argument among Christians” and having nothing to do with whether the general public should see it or not (because the general public doesn’t care about “arguments among Christians”).

The REAL BIG PROBLEM here is that this is actually a PROPAGANDA PIECE for the “secular religion” of the enviro-whacko mentality of the liberals, leftists, ‘greens’ and global warming advocates. It’s really NOT about whether this is true to the Bible — it’s actually about the enviro-whackos” recruiting and propagandizing for the secular “church of Environmentalism” — which is the very thing we’re fighting against, here, so strongly.

Hey, you’ll get no argument from me.

How many people will watch this movie and think that Christian doctrine dovetails nicely with the gaia-worshipping nonsense they picked up at University? When you then try to explain to them that Man is created in the image of God and especially loved by God, you have to undo the damage done by this “religious” movie.
