Muriel Bowser won the District of Columbia’s Democratic mayoral primary Tuesday, defeating incumbent Vincent Gray in a race defined by a scandal involving Gray’s campaign four years ago.
Bowser tapped into an electorate that tired of the allegations surrounding Gray. Five people who worked on the mayor’s 2010 campaign have pleaded guilty to felonies, and Bowser said the city needed a fresh start as the mayor faced potential criminal charges.
Bowser, 41, is a D.C. councilmember and a protégé of former Mayor Adrian Fenty, whom Gray defeated in 2010. …

Regretfully, America’s African-Americans are adrift at sea, and will remain as such for a very long time to come unless they change their politics, culture and assimilate into the general American society!!! Obama, The NAACP, The CBC, their ministers, their so-called leaders have failed them miserably. Sad....that they are but “sheep” being led to the economic slaughter & slavery by their own kind. Gray is currently the target of a federal coruption probe - many members of his admin. have already been convicted or copped pleas.

WDC has for many election cycles selected losers from a crowd of losers to be the lead loser in that very, very corrupt loser city government. The only reason they aren’t completely like detroit is massive infusion of your tax money into that specific black hole. If nothing else, they are macaca.
