Thanks for posting that. It never hurts to have Rush’s glowing acknowledgment. Cruz is the real deal. He seems leaps and bounds over the rest of the politicians. He is as consistent and principled as they come.

there is no news anymore. There no news in the media. It's just propaganda. It's the Democrat Party and the Regime talking points disguised as the news.

When did I wake up on the other side of the Berlin Wall? Cause I sure got that old Stasi feeling....

We want to repeal it. That will never happen. Repealing at this point will be almost as disruptive as the ACA was already.

And you are NOT going to take away the insurance people now have, even just temporarily, while you are working on a better way.

Whatever we come up with to get rid of the ACA at this point, it is going to have to deal with the new reality.

Because we all may well hate the entire concept. But nobody is seriously talking about abolishing Social Security, or Medicare. And like it or not, there are parts of the ACA that are now entrenched in that same way.

Somehow, we are going to have to find a way to afford to keep paying the insurance premiums for those 4 million people who now have insurance. Not because it is the right thing to do, but because you will not win an election, much less a vote, to do otherwise.

Reality sucks, and we can certainly work to change it, but there is little point pretending reality does not exist.

It did not help that the ACA had a bad rollout, in that regard. That made too many conservatives focus on “look how bad they are implementing”, instead of “good thing it is implemented badly, so it isn’t hurting quite as many people as it otherwise would have”

How is it the ruling class can only promulgate lies and the media does not do their job? Repeal it; our country, our life style, is in the balance.

“If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that ye were our countrymen.” ― Samuel Adams

I hope you're wrong. I understand why you think it can't be repealed, but it can be, it HAS to be repealed. Yes, we need a viable alternative. With that and strong leadership, repeal could happen in as little as one, and at most four years.

Nonsense!
This piece of trash has been forced down the throats of Americans. Thir insurance has been cancelled by fiat. The law is nothing more than a power grab by marxist politicians.
It is simple enough to reinstate every detail of the system it has poleaxed. We did this once before with abolition. We surely are smart enough to do it again.
Insurance is a state matter, not a federal one. Get the feds out of our health care, totally. Rates will drop, cost will drop and the quality of care will go through the stratosphere.
Simple.

What a defeatist attitude.

Repealing at this point will be almost as disruptive as the ACA was already.

Huh? So what. I think most Conservatives know it will only get worse and worse and worse. It will allow the government to enslave us.

Therefore, no matter how painful it is we MUST repeal every single word of this monstrosity.

The very act of repealing this evil Statist act will immediately start the dynamics of the Market to start working. Then going forward we can push many solutions such as Tort reform, buying across State borders etc.

It astounds me that Freepers are afraid of the dynamics of the marketplace. Please go and read Joseph Schumpete and his wonderful explanation of the benefits of Capitalism, what he calls Creative destruction.

The very act of removing government from more and more of our lives will allow the people to more freely interact and arrive at more cost effective and more efficient solutions to all the problems we face.

Nothing is taken away if it’s repealed. They’ll just see a surprising increase in the premiums next year, like we did this year.

Cruz is the only one talking a promise of repeal. It is one line in the sand for me, a permanent one. The other is no comprehensive immigration reform.

If any candidate does not offer those two items to me, no vote, no money, period. Unlike Obozo, I mean it.

But isn’t that EXACTLY what Obama did? So obviously, it’s doable.

You don’t want kenyancare repealed because that would be “almost as disruptive as the ACA”? That is just a excuse for not fighting the Dems on kenyancare. It’s a variation on the beltway GOP surrender plan template that always comes the promise to fight for the next hill. That’s why they lose.

Until we fight the Dems on the beaches, mountains and everywhere in between we will continue to lose. If the Dems can ram through kenyancare, the GOP can ram through it’s “root and branch” repeal. Period.

I pray that God has not let us down like we have let HIM down all over this country. Perhaps he will spare us and Cruz will win the presidency and get this nation back on track where it belongs. We have been riding a government “train wreck” for far too long and its time to take our country back.

I’m liking Cruz more and more for 16; he just needs to work on tactics and strategy, but his goals are right.
