I have no idea what you are trying to say, or how it relates to the fact that Paul has kicked off his presidential campaign, calling for the party to move left and drop at least one leg of conservatism.

Liz Cheney had to drop out because she was too left for instance on gay marriage and homosexualizing the military.

Liz Cheney talked big and so does Ben Sasse. Im not convinced either of them were any more conservative than their establishment opponent.

HuH?

Liz Cheney obviously wasn’t, that is why she had to drop out, there isn’t any doubt about her.

This stinks to Heaven ... Please explain the Flip-flop in light of Matt Kilbbe’s previous words ...

FreedomWorks: Sasse “Supports The Basic Principles Of Obamacare”:

“But there’s a problem. Mr. Sasse, a wealthy former business management consultant with a long list of health industry clients, is positioning himself as a staunchly ‘anti-Obamacare’ candidate; but that doesn’t square with his past record, a careful review of which reveals four things: 1. He supports the basic principles of Obamacare, if not all the details. 2. While Obamacare was being drafted, he offered its authors advice on how to improve it. 3. After Obamacare became law, he prospered by advising health care companies how to implement it. 4. He wants to replace it with what may fairly be described as ‘ObamaCare Lite.’” (Dean Clancy, “The Trouble With Sasse,” FreedomWorks, 1/29/14)

NOT SO ‘NEBRASKA NICE’

I don’t know who to believe, but I smell a rat, particularly since, from my own personal observations I note that:

1.) Ben Saase is way to smooth.
2.) He is way too well funded.
3.) Assistant secretary of HHS under George W. Bush.
4.) Sasse worked on Mitt Romney’s transition team
5.) My gut does not trust him

What say you, Freepers?

What say you, Freepers? I say that your criticisms of Sasse are a bit specious.

1.) too smooth.
2.) too well funded.
3.) George W. Bush
4.) Mitt Romney
5.) Your gut

So you’re leaning against a guy because he worked for our last president, he supported our last nominee and you just sort of have a visceral dislike for him? Sasse has the support of Mark Levin, frankly that’s enough for me. But he also has the endorsement of nearly every other sector of the conservative movement. The only reason Osborn has been leading until this point is that Sasse received support from the Senate Conservatives Fund before he went hat in hand to McConnell and the GOP establishment. Osborn is a good candidate, I’m not going to criticize him at all, but McConnell is backing him hard because he feels like he has a better chance to control him. That’s the only thing about this race that stinks to me.
