You’d have never heard of Rand Paul, unless you needed glasses in a certain Kentucky locality, without Ron Paul. Just as Dubya would probably be a grocery store assistant manager without his father.
We all depend on a father’s support. Without my father paying for my college all the way through graduate college, I could have never earned the money I did.
If my father was a well known politician, I could have benefited from his connections. There is absolutely nothing wrong with children of a powerful fathers benefiting in their own careers.
My own kids are benefiting quite a bit from me. One is in law college, another in medical college. Both will graduate with zero student loans. That is what fathers are for.
