Thousands of people gathered in Amsterdam on Saturday to protest against racist remarks by Dutch right-wing politician Geert Wilders. He told a rally recently that he would make sure there were fewer Moroccans in Holland in future after receiving vocal approval from a crowd. The comments unleashed widespread condemnation in Holland and abroad, and Saturday’s rally was part of this backlash.
