I had my computer guy come by last evening....my Mom’s hard drive looks to be dying. Won’t allow back up, won’t allow repair...has her thinking, after I said we’d get her a new computer if needed, that maybe she could start to learn the PC on my Dad’s computer UPSTAIRS. She uses the stairlifts, but still has a stair to get past. Her mobility is getting worse. Saturday she even, after several years and my Dad saying NO as well, agreed that we need a mini van or something with no step up into the seat.
Now I have to car shop. The last time I did that was 30 years ago. My S-10 is a 1984.
Besides it scaring you, how are you and your smart phone getting along?
I don't know if he was in Australia long enough to pick up the “Bob's yer uncle” thingy. But I will try.
How would this do...... “get yer bowl, the gumbo's on the stove, Bob's yer uncle”. :)
Oh, Luvie - thank you for the pic of that sweet little yorkie. I had to put an “M” in front of ‘yorkie’ though, because my little ‘popcorn’ is a Morkie - part Maltese and part Yorkie.
(Although, I suspect she is much more than those two breeds. She ‘mouths’ (gently takes my arm in her mouth) like a Golden, ‘herds’ (at my ankles) like an Aussie Sheep dog, finds everything with smell, and even follows tire tracks in the driveway, like a Bloodhound, growls at intruders like a Shepherd, barks like a Schnauzer when the door-bell rings, is happy all the time like a Cocker, learns new tricks like a Jack Russel, howls at a siren like a Beagle, jumps fearlessly on everything, like a Doxie, etc.) All in all - she is wonderful. I wish she could talk.

My little ‘popcorn’ won’t want a bowl - she will want me to open the box of ice cream, and eat it ALL!
