An old friend of mine and her petroleum engineer...DOCTOR of Petroleum engineer husband, lived in Iran for several years. I asked her if the Persians were as awful as we always hear they are.
She paused for a moment and said..."Well, I lived and worked with them and got to know so many wonderful people over there that I don't think MY (mah, she's from the south) point of view is going to be the same as the USA folks who were continually fed nothing but negative things about the country."
She said that she would never want to LIVE permanently over there, but that those years were good years for her and her husband.
She was correct. It's much the same with the USA vision of the KSA.
