Sorry, while I provide it as anecdote the numbers bear out what my anecdote is showing.

You have teen employment at the lowest levels of my lifetime.. You have the lowest employment participation rates since the Carter Administration. This isn’t simply an anecdote of one... its a trend that is the reality of the world today.

I'm not arguing. Back when I was in HS, I applied in a grocery store where three friends worked. They had all been hired the SAME day they had applied.
I had to go back and "nag" the store manager for weeks before finally getting the job.
Based on my experience I could honestly say getting a job was hard, while my buddies would say just the opposite.
